Houston Home Staging Presents........... : Yet another Houston Home Staging success story!

Gather round, for we have a story to tell!

Houston Home Staging has always produced great results, but here is the kind of story that makes our work worthwhile!

We were recently asked to consult on a rather glamorous listing, in one of the Houston's more fashionable (and quick selling) neighborhoods! This particular home boasted every amenity that one could hope for (and more). The owners had taken great care in the preparation of their home, and the Realtor can always be counted upon for correctly pricing, and presenting his listings.

After 30+ showings, no offer was presented. Houston Home Staging is generally not called upon when a home is in perfect condition, and the furnishings are attractively arranged. Well, the Realtor had a plan:

Call Houston Home Staging into the project with a $145 consultation.
Raise the price of the listing by $40K

So, off we went to do our staging magic. The problem: the furnishings were beautiful, and appropriate to the setting, but they needed a slight adjustment and repositioning. The buyers couldn't see the value of the home, because beautiful decorations were obscuring the fireplace, hardwood floors, and generously sized rooms.

We spent two hours in the house.

The house sold the following weekend.

The house closed in less than twenty days from the staging!
